Pupils revise sports and activities through TPR, then practise saying a complex sentence before writing it and reading it to their partners. 


During this lesson pupils will:

  1. revise sports vocabulary using TPR 
  2. hear the words and sentences before reading them to help with pronunciation
  3. read sentence stems to scaffold their own writing 
  4. have the opportunity to notice the difference in grammar with sports and activities
  5. be given freedom to choose their own words to finish the sentence stems
  6. read their writing and compare with their partners to help their critical-thinking skills.
