Patience's Practical Teaching Tips
Patience shares the following tips linked to the professional practice of knowing the subject:
"First, treat students questions especially those that stump as prompts to go and find out more."
Patience believes that challenging questions provide valuable opportunities for teachers to deepen their own understanding and continue learning alongside their students.
"Second, joining subject specific groups on social media or professional communities like English Connect gives you a lot of experience on the subject."
Professional networks and communities provide opportunities to exchange ideas, learn from peers, and stay connected with current practice.
"Third, teacher must update subject knowledge and teaching approaches through out their career"
Continuous professional development helps teachers remain effective, confident, and responsive to the changing needs of learners.
We thank Patience for her outstanding contribution to education and for her commitment to supporting both teachers and learners. Her passion for professional growth, collaboration, and educational excellence is an inspiration to the English Connects community.
