About the webinar

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time, and teachers play a crucial role in raising awareness and inspiring action. This webinar explores how blogging can be a powerful tool for teachers to engage in climate action, share their perspectives, and influence their communities.

Join us as we showcase the work of UNELTA in guiding teachers to create impactful climate action blogs through a British Council project. We will highlight inspiring examples, discuss their real-world effects, and explore practical strategies for integrating climate education into digital storytelling.

Additionally, the session will demonstrate how translanguaging—using multiple languages to enhance communication—and gender equality considerations can be effectively incorporated into climate action blogging, ensuring inclusive and diverse participation.

Whether you’re a teacher, teacher educator, or education leader, this webinar will equip you with the insights and tools needed to encourage meaningful climate action through blogging.
