About this webinar

This webinar will begin by exploring the themes and opportunities available in the English Connects offer for April 2025 to March 2026. I will show you how to align your professional development goals with the upcoming content plan, including the themes listed below:

  • Knowing the subject (understanding English language systems and how to teach them)
  • Understanding and developing your learners
  • Assessing learning
  • Planning lessons and courses
  • Managing the lesson
  • Using multilingual approaches
  • Using inclusive practices
  • Using transferable skills /21st-century skills for learning and life

You will learn how to integrate these themes into your teaching practice to inspire positive changes in your classroom and community. The next stage of the webinar will focus on practical strategies for making the most of the available resources, such as webinars, activities, and tools designed to support your growth.

Finally, we will discuss how you can take part in the program by presenting your own webinar, offering a platform to share your expertise and inspire fellow teachers.
