About the webinar

The workshop will start by taking a look at the common barriers to oral confidence, exploring psychological and pedagogical strategies for overcoming these barriers and effective classroom techniques to support less confident learners. I will show the participants how to scaffold speaking tasks, incorporate engaging activities, and provide constructive feedback to build learners' confidence gradually. Moving forward, the next stage will involve interactive discussions, presentation of case studies, and classroom-tested strategies. Participants will engage in reflective exercises and explore real-life scenarios and practical examples such as role-playing, gamification, and structured peer interactions will be demonstrated. At the end of the session, participants will gain hands-on strategies to foster an inclusive, communicative classroom. Participants will leave with ready-to-use techniques that empower students to speak confidently.
